Greatest ever cinematic achievement, filming the impossible-to-film movie and adapting the impossible-to-adapt book. Taking seven years to do it. Practically creating the entire New Zealand film industry while they are at it. Making superstars of it's actors. Bringing the famous books to glorious life.
