Mighty Fine Shindig

I spent the weekend at the world's first Firefly and Serenity convention. It was crazy, it was packed and it was great fun. Got to meet/get autographs from/be photoed with Nathan Fillion (Mal), Alan Tudyk (Wash), Summer Glau (River), Jewel Staite (Kaylee), Morena Baccarin (Inara) and Ron Glass (Book), as well as Mark A Shepherd (Badger).

They are a great bunch, really funny and as tight knit a group of friends as you'll ever meet. It's safe to say that everyone just adored Summer by the end of it, she is just so nice and gorgeous too; she seemed really shy and almost overwhelmed by the attention. Alan was really popular too, the double act of him and Nathan was one of the highlights of the whole weekend. And he was really stunned by the sight of the Wash-O-Saurus costume, but then, who wasn't?

Nathan is the captain, make no mistake. Just hi-larious, and he had something to say for every occasion.
