Friday Haiku

A good quiet week
At home this Christmas. Nice to
Escape everything.

New Year's is up next.
Not got anything planned yet.
So no change there then.

Still in job limbo.
Should hear after New Year's Day.
One way or t'other.

Interview

Yup, I have an interview tomorrow. Not sure if I want this particular one, but I've got to start looking somewhere.

Wish me luck.

Hertfordshire Bang

I only heard about this when I went online at about midday. I was shocked... and then very worried when I realised I knew people in the area. I checked some of the reports and then rang them up... they were okay, but shaken, obviously and literally. They had thought it was a nuke, or the end of the world or something. I can't even begin to imagine how scary it must have been to be close by to the explosion when it happened.

Good luck and best wishes to everyone in the area affected... but mostly to my friends there.

I hate looking for
Jobs. Most of them are out of
My league. Or boring.

Need to get onto
Some agencies, and get my
CV out there quick.

The Beginning Of The End

I've just been told that at the end of the year I'll be out of a job. My contract ends, company employing me shuts down soon after.

Great.
